Cathedral Events Case Study

ChristChurch Cathedral hosts a variety of special concerts and required promotional posters to advertise their larger high-profile events.

Quiqcorp initially designed and produced posters for the ‘Appassionata’ show and gala concert events, which featured the award-winning floral costume art of Jenny Gillies .

The eye-catching posters made use of stunning photography while incorporating unique Cathedral details such as the stained-glass windows designs and the Cathedral’s distinctive red branding colour. One poster utilised gold embossing to evoke the sense of luxury and quality associated with the event.

ChristChurch Cathedral was so impressed with the posters they asked Quiqcorp to create more posters for other events, including a special concert by Fiona Pears and a ‘Bach by Candlelight’ concert. The designs were used for posters as well as newspaper advertisements.

Quiqcorp’s design work has now evolved into a distinctive ‘house style’ for ChristChurch Cathedral events, with a clear and cohesive identity that is instantly recognized by regular concert-goers – making the advertising of upcoming events highly effective.
