Cathedral Merchandising Case Study

In 2008 Quiqcorp started a collaboration with ChristChurch Cathedral on a series of marketing and merchandising products to be displayed and sold within their gift store. Initially the store sold only generic New Zealand-themed gift items, and they desired a range of quality gifts specific to the Cathedral itself.
Quiqcorp met with their fundraising manager to agree a suitable product range that would fulfill the tasks of showcasing the Cathedral’s unique brand while also providing strong sales to both tourists and locals.
Quiqcorp designed and produced a beautiful high-quality range of items featuring details of the Cathedral’s stained-glass windows, including gift cards, bookmarks and a beautifully packaged set of wrapping paper. Quiqcorp also created a set of fine art prints and gift cards featuring pen-and-ink drawings of the Cathedral by local artist Sharyn Ley. Other gift items to complete the range include t-shirts and seasonal holiday cards.
All gift items are made to a very high standard and are carefully designed to appeal to tourists as quality mementos of their visit, as well as local Christchurch shoppers seeking a unique gift.
Quiqcorp manages the entire design and production process of each item, which means the only thing the Cathedral staff needs to worry about is restocking items as they sell out!
